Housing in D.C.

WeLive is a new way of living built upon community, flexibility, and a fundamental belief that we are only as good as the people we surround ourselves with. From backyard fire pits to professional kitchens for shared meals, and spacious media lounges, evolve the apartment into a full-on experience. The program has established a partnership with WeLive to provide a flexible, discounted living option for students to avoid the stress of finding a place to live for 3 months in the DC area.

Step out on to the street and you're in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. The Gallery, repurposed to be a satellite residence hall in the Northeast Capitol Region, is one half block from the Prince Street School and approximately 5 blocks from the King Street Metro Station. Whether you're a student in the Architecture program looking for housing while working at the Washington-Alexandria Architecture Consortium, a Junior business major in need of housing during your summer internship, or a graduate student doing a co-op in Northern Virginia, The Gallery is home away from Blacksburg.

The majority of units (apartments) consist of a living/dining room, a kitchen, a bedroom, and bath, and are expected to hold two students. There are also larger units that contain a loft space used as a bedroom, in addition to the living/dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bath, and these units are intended to house three/four students.  The units are furnished with beds, dresser, sofa, coffee table, end tables, and a dining room table & chairs.  You are responsible for your linens, shower curtain, dishes, pots/pans/TV & a microwave, if desired.  Housing costs listed below include all utilities except phone/computer/cable TV.
